No Install!
Unlike other web conferencing products, there is nothing needed to host or attend Dimdim web events. You can share your documents, webcams, web pages, whiteboards, pass control to multiple presenters - even record your meetings - all without installing any software. We do this on the Mac, Windows or Linux using our lightweight browser-based magic and Flash.*
Share & Present Documents
Upload any PPT, PDF, or PPTX file on your hard drive and it is quickly converted to a Flash file. You then present your document using the built in laser pointer, annotation and zoom tools. We delete the file when you end your meeting, alleviating concerns for stuff getting lost in the cloud. In the near future, Dimdim Pro customers can store these documents to speed up their sessions.
Share Computer Screens
Via a small plug-in you can instantly share any activity on your computer screen. Show your desktop, your Photoshop session, even a game. Now participants can view your activity on their computers in full screen or via zoom controls. In the near future participants will be able to request control of your mouse and keyboard - all without a plug-in required.
Share Web Pages
Start scrolling through any web page and Dimdim’s SynchroLive Co-Browsing feature will take care of the rest - as you scroll the webpage on your computer, your guest will see what you see and their view will scroll with you. Visit a YouTube page and the video you discover will start playing on everyone’s computer - all in sync. This is a great way to present webbased surveys, polls, even your own website and ensure the audience sees what you see.

With one click, you start sharing a collaborative, multi-page whiteboard. Allow any participant to join in - editing anyone’s content - or lock them all out so only you can drive the whiteboarding session. Now includes laser pointer and client-side zoom controls.

All it takes is one click to record your meetings. At the end of the meeting we send you an email with the recording URL you can send to others who could not attend. Simply share the webinar widget on any website or via FaceBook or Twitter and anyone can register for your event just by entering their email address. The widget sends them email confirmation of their registration and notifies them when your meeting starts. The host gets a registration report and the widget automatically updates to show when the meeting is live. It can be configured to provide a place for the meeting recording or transcript after the event is over.
Enable Mash Ups
Being open source and having an open API means you can extend Dimdim as you see fit. We already integrate with your local eMail client, with Yahoo!’s Zimbra, and with your Outlook or iCal calendar, with Learning Management Systems such as Docebo, Claroline, LAMS, and Moodle and with popular CRM systems such as SugarCRM.
